Officiating

As a member of AAU, North Valley Hockey plays by the AAU rulebook.

Referee Evaluations or Complaints:

Referee evaluations or complaint from Coaches must be submitted via email directly to the League Director and Referee-in-Chief.

Complaints from Fans and Non-Representatives:

Any complaint or concern regarding North Valley Hockey, it's players, coaches or referees should be directed to the League Director.

Incident Report for Officials:

All referees should file an incident report for any supplemental disciplinary request (game suspension) or serious injury to the Referee-in-Chief and League Director within 24 hours. Any official present during an event involving North Valley Hockey which required the need for emergency services should immediately notify the League Director via email nvhockeyinfo@gmail.com

Employment of Officials:

North Valley Hockey officials must meet mandatory referee training (1 day classroom) and pass AAU Official test before officiating in any league games.
